"Hey Killer Moose™,

What kind of music do you play?"

Is the first question we're asked. We have a few blues tunes in the act, but we're NOT a blues band. We perform classic tracks, newer alternative hits, dance music, some country, and original material.

Classic tracks range from early Beatles and Stones to Jethro Tull and Santana. We do some Foo Fighters, Nirvana, SmashMouth, and Collective Soul. Our originals have been compared to Duran Duran, The Police, Van Morrison and Robert Plant. There's a song list below, if you want to know specific songs.

On lead guitar and vocals, Tony Xavier used to play for Pittsburgh Police, Eighteen Names, and Gallery. On vocals, flute, guitar, and keyboards, Tractor Jack (the artist formerly known as Damien Rock) used to play for JetSet, Trinity, Toast, and Crowded Hour. On drums, percussion, and vocals, Sir William Scumbag used to play for Ego Trip, Foghat (on tour), and The Dixie Dregs (in some obscure session). Last but not least, on bass, vocals, and harmonica, Mikey Moose (the last original member of Killer Moose) has also played with No Money Down and Cast Iron Corruption

Including benefits, rock challenges, guest appearances, and headlining, Killer Moose has played at Metropol, Moondogs, Thursdays (opening for B.E. Taylor, The Granati Brothers, and Donnie Iris) and local bars, The Windhaven, Rock House, Kendrew's, Kelly's, Jeffries Landing, 3 Degree Lounge, Skylark, Pittsburgh PInt and Platter, Strikers, Club Cafe, Sports Rock Cafe, Excuses, Billy's Roadhouse, New Castle Moose, and Moy's Cove.
